SPATIAL DESIGN & SCENOGRAPHY

LANDSCHAPPEN het onvoltooide (LANDSCAPES the unfinished)
What is a landscape? And how does a landscape architect use the landscape? To make that understandable, I divided the landscape into 4 layers: position, viewing point, focus point, and end of sight. And translated these 4 layers into scenography terms: framing, foreground, center, and background. With this layering, I started exploring how an exhibition can be shaped like a landscape.
This exhibition was in close collaboration with landscape architect Chris Vermander, the founder of Buro voor Vrije Ruimte.
And was created in parallel with the publication of the renowned book LANDSCHAPPEN het onvoltooide.
